Job summary

Matrix is currently seeking highly skilled Journeyman (Red Seal) Millwrights to join our team for 2–3 rotations with a 28/14 schedule. Charter flights from Edmonton are available.

In this key role, you will install, assemble, and commission conveyor systems and apron feeders, along with their components and accessories. You will also support troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure these systems operate safely and efficiently in an industrial mining/milling environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright trade certification.
• Experience installing conveyors and apron feeders.
• Familiarity with installation of associated conveyor/feeder components and accessories.
• Experience in mining and/or milling is a strong asset.
• Crusher experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission conveyor systems and apron feeders.
• Work with related accessories/components used with these systems.
• Assist with crusher work when required (preferred).

Job description

Matrix is currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Journeyman (Red Seal) Millwrights to join our team. This is an urgent fill for 2–3 rotations with a 28/14 schedule. Charter flights from Edmonton are available.

In this key role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and commissioning conveyor systems and apron feeders, along with their associated components and accessories. You will also support troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure these systems operates safely and efficiently in an industrial mining/milling environment.

Crusher experience is considered a strong asset, as we may require support with crusher-related work when needed. Previous mining and/or milling experience is also highly desirable, as it helps candidates understand the environment and expectations from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission conveyor systems and apron feeders

Requirements

• Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright trade certification
• Experience/knowledge installing conveyors and apron feeders
• Familiarity with installation of associated conveyor/feeder components and accessories
• Experience in mining and/or milling is a strong asset
• Crusher experience is considered an asset

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience supporting or assisting on crusher installations/maintenance
• Experience working in mining/milling operations
