We are hiring a Journeyman Mechanic to maintain our fleet's optimal performance. This full-time position offers competitive pay, benefits, strong leadership, a respectful culture, and a team that values expertise. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, mentor apprentices, and occasionally work in the field, all within a culture of pride, trust, and performance.

Here’s a glimpse of your daily tasks:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality work
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (paid)
  • Share your expertise and support less experienced mechanics
  • Prioritize safety, professionalism, and teamwork

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are hands-on, thrive under high expectations, enjoy solving problems, and are known as a dependable "go-to" person.

You’ll excel in this role if you have:

  • Journeyperson certification in Heavy Duty or Automotive Mechanics
  • 3–5 years of shop or fleet maintenance experience
  • Strong diagnostics skills, especially on Class 8 equipment
  • Experience with service trucks or field work is a plus
  • A commercial inspection license or interest in obtaining one
  • Independence and teamwork skills
  • A safety-first, professional attitude

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday daytime hours, with paid rotating on-call duties (evenings/weekends)
  • Occasional fieldwork during peak periods
  • Work in indoor shops and outdoor yards, in all seasons
