AV Group NB Inc. Atholville Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Journeyman Industrial Electrician – Electrical & Instrumentation Department

Role Overview

The successful applicant will work with our E&I team to perform tasks ranging from routine plant maintenance to implementation of improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems.
• Routine maintenance on lighting and power distribution systems.
• Inspection and Reliability tasks: motor cleanliness & lubrication, thermography.
• Routing and installation of cables and tray to feed new equipment.
• VFD and PLC programming and maintenance.
• Identify and correct deficiencies with respect to relevant codes and specifications.
• Participate in business improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of grade twelve high school course along with maintaining a 1st class Industrial Electrician License.
• Experience considered an asset.
• Preference will be given to those with multiple trades.
• Must be willing to work overtime, shift work and take calls.
