Job Summary :

Ainsworth is currently seeking HVAC Technicians to join our growing team in Surrey / Vancouver, BC. The role involves assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, products, and systems.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Represent Ainsworth professionally and courteously, providing excellent customer service on each call.
  • Read, interpret, create, and maintain drawings and specifications.
  • Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
  • Overhaul and service HVAC units and systems.
  • Repair, replace, and adjust worn or broken parts on condensers, compressors, and pumps.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC problems.
  • Install motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
  • Instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of apprentices.
  • Maintain knowledge of modern equipment and regulations.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform all duties safely, complying with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Support other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications :
  • High School diploma or GED from a certified institution.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current Certificate of Qualification.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and practices of the trade.
  • Understanding of HVAC/R codes, standards, and safety precautions.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The hourly pay range is $15-$55.
