Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a Red Seal Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Solutions team in Calgary, AB. The technician will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation, and dismantling of HVAC systems. Work may include projects involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of central air conditioning, refrigeration, and combined heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.

The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and weekends as required. Uniforms and PPE are supplied.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies.
2. Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems and fixtures.
3. Maintain accurate documentation of work and materials used.
4. Assist with scoping, estimating, planning, and executing new work or projects.
5. Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
6. Install HVAC systems according to plans and specifications.
7. Assist in planning material needs and coordinating deliveries.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Journeyman Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal) with at least 3 years of experience.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
5. Strong commitment to safety.
6. Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
7. Willingness and ability to travel.
