Job summary

Kleysen Group in Calgary seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician (Truck/Trailer Mechanic) to diagnose and repair mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical systems across a fleet of company trucks and trailers as well as Owner Operators. You will work in a small, cohesive team with a safety-first approach and opportunities for ongoing training.

The ideal candidate prefers journeyman or Red Seal status, or has equivalent experience with a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Journeyman/Red Seal on-road technician preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work on trailers for apprenticeships.
• Own tools and safety boots required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Perform maintenance and preventive servicing on fleet vehicles.
• Collaborate with a small team in a safety‑conscious work environment.
