Kleysen Group Ltd. is seeking a Supervisor, Tractor/Trailer Shop in the Edmonton/Sherwood Park area. You will lead a team of apprentices and journeyman technicians, guiding, assisting and performing diagnostic work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems for our fleet and Owner Operators.

Qualifications

• Certified Heavy Equipment Technician (or Red Seal) with experience on on-road trucks and trailers.
• Certified CVIP for trucks and trailers.
• Supervisory/leadership experience or ability to train technicians.
• Team oriented with ability to foster a healthy team environment.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning shop software.
• Administrative duties: ordering parts, inventory, work orders, vacation coordination.
• Technician with own tools and safety boots.
• Safety-first approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of apprentices and journeymen technicians.
• Provide hands-on support with diagnosing mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of fleet trucks and trailers, including customer Owner Operators.
• Guide and coach technicians to improve skills and performance.
