Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in repair and maintenance for highway maintenance equipment.
• Valid Class 3 with air brake endorsement and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
• CVIP inspection license or the ability to obtain one.
• Proven diagnostics, repair, and maintenance abilities across equipment.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and performing electronic diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety culture and a productive work environment.
• Perform routine servicing: fluid changes, brake replacements, hydraulic hose replacements.
• Inspect and repair on-road light and heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic controls and brake systems.
• Maintain service logs, maintenance records, work orders, and timesheets.
• Operate cranes and forklifts to support repair tasks.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
