Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of overhead cranes is considered an asset.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all production and facility equipment and systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs and programmable controllers.
• Conduct equipment inspections as required or as outlined by the preventative maintenance schedule to detect and diagnose issues.
• Report detailed records of work performed to management.
• Contribute to plant upgrades and improvements.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid provincial certification as an Industrial or Construction Electrician.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate.
• Strong electrical and PLC experience is essential.
• Experience in the maintenance of overhead cranes is considered an asset.
• Welding tickets are considered an asset.
• Available to work shifts on a flexible basis, including short notice of overtime.
