Job summary

Prince Albert Toyota is seeking an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team in Prince Albert, SK. We provide top wages, semi-annual bonuses, and a $5,000 hiring bonus for the right candidate. SGI accreditation is an asset but not required, and you must hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 5

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification or Interprovincial Red Seal required or asset.
• Proficient with automotive hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Use advanced scan tools and computerized diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Repairs: Perform component-level and system-wide repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and exhaust systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute standard servicing like oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and wheel alignments.
• Quality Assurance: Road-test vehicles and adjust repaired systems to guarantee they meet or exceed factory performance specifications.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of labor hours, parts used, and inspection findings for service advisors and customers.
• Mentorship: Guide and oversee junior apprentices while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

• Tools: Possess a comprehensive, professional set of automotive hand tools.
• Physical & Technical Skills: The ability to lift heavy parts, use complex heavy equipment (like hoists), and interpret technical service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Licensing: A valid driver's license (e.g., a Saskatchewan Class 5) with a clean abstract
