High Torque Mobile Mechanics is currently searching for a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our expanding team. The right candidate will be given an outfitted service truck to perform mobile repairs and diagnostics at customer locations in and around the City of Calgary.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required

• Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification (Alberta, or Red Seal)
• 3rd or 4th year apprentices may be considered
• Related experience: Automotive repairs in a shop or mobile setting. Ability to problem solve and take on challenges on-site
• Overtime availability is an asset. In addition, relative hours are set Monday-Friday 8 hours per day. Work is distributed by your availability
• Computer and technology skills are necessary to complete regular duties and follow instructions on an app-based platform
• Newer Apple-based phone with a good camera is an asset (can be provided/reimbursed to the right candidate)
• Physical effort is required to move objects and service-related tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required
• Able to properly maintain the assigned company vehicle and vehicle inventory
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Current valid Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract
• Clean criminal background check
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
