Job summary

Brentwood Pharmacy in Burnaby, BC is hiring a Permanent Part-Time Pharmacist to join our collaborative, supportive team, with a clear path to a full-time position.

What you’ll do: provide medication therapy management, counsel patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure integrated care while supervising 1-2 staff and managing inventory. Candidates must be BC-licensed and injection-certified, with English fluency and Persian as a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
• Must hold current certification for drug administration by injection and a valid First Aid certificate.
• Excellent English communication; Persian is an asset.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medication therapy management and dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals with accuracy.
• Offer compassionate patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care.
• Supervise and support a team of 1-2 pharmacy staff members.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock.
