The property and casualty insurance advisor contributes to enhancing the experience of a life event, such as the purchase of a new vehicle or a home, by preparing premium quotes and issuing insurance contracts. Advisors assess the specific needs of each member and client, providing support in choosing the appropriate coverage and promoting personalized services. Responsibilities include file follow-up, analyzing renewals requiring special underwriting, and correcting contracts as needed. The goal is to maintain strong business relationships and be first in our clients' hearts. At Desjardins, our insurance agents are evaluated on human objectives that enable them to deliver quality service without sales pressure.
Claims Adjuster – Auto Physical Damage
Listening. Informing. Support. Investigate.
The claims adjuster handles clients with empathy and professionalism, investigating automobile and home claims files. They collaborate with all parties in the claims settlement process, keeping files updated in our claims management system. They conduct damage assessments, estimate costs and market value, review reports and documents, and determine settlement amounts. The role evolves with file complexity, offering opportunities for career development. Claims adjusters manage assigned claims from start to finish, with potential salary increases based on additional cases handled.
