Job summary

Acuren is seeking a highly organized Junior Logistics & Equipment Administrator to support the day-to-day logistics and equipment needs of our operations at the LNG site in Kitimat, BC.

You will coordinate employee travel, safety training, drug and alcohol testing, site orientations and equipment-related activities while collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness and smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in logistics, equipment coordination or related administrative work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and internet applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients, suppliers and partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, identify problems and provide potential solutions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in business processes, goals and priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and book all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels and car rentals, ensuring policy compliance and budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel details, itineraries, hotel reservations, taxis and car rental confirmations.
  • Schedule and coordinate employee safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and schedule pre-access drug and alcohol screenings for employees according to client requirements.
  • May schedule and coordinate site orientations for new employees, ensuring awareness of site-specific safety protocols.
  • Coordinate employee accommodations and set up direct billing accounts with hotels.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing documents, answering phones, and responding to emails.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistical operations and efficient communication.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Logistics & Equipment Administrator to support the day-to-day logistics and equipment needs of our operations at the LNG site in Kitimat, BC!

In this role, you will help coordinate employee logistics, travel arrangements, safety training, drug and alcohol testing, site orientations, and equipment-related activities. You will work closely with internal teams and site personnel to ensure requirements are completed accurately and on time, while supporting smooth communication and efficient operations.

Position Details:

Location: LNG site – Kitimat, BC - Must be local to Kitimat or the surrounding area.

Start Date: Immediately.

Shift/Hours: 5/2 rotation, 40 hours per week.

Wage Range: $25.00–$35.00/hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements
