Job (Calgary): Stage Manager – Theatre Encounter

Theatre Encounter is seeking a stage manager with an interest in devised theatre for their upcoming presentation of KLIMT’S PLAYTHINGS: a new experimental performance creation that will be developed over the next six weeks, based on the lives and paintings of Gustav Klimt’s most famous models.

Working in collaboration with the Artistic Producer and Artistic Director, the stage manager will help facilitate the creation of this new work. The ideal candidate is available on a part-time schedule (evenings/weekends) immediately to the end of March 2019. Performance dates are March 24-31, 2019. All rehearsals and presentations will take place at the cSpace King Edward in Marda Loop Calgary.

Both emerging and experienced stage managers are encouraged to apply. Training in Qlab will be provided as part of this contract, as well as an honorarium.
