Job description

Are you an experienced Fullstack Developer with a strong background working with JavaScript/React/Node JS? Do you have experience ensuring compliance and accessibility standards with WCAG 2.2 AA or higher?

We're looking for a Fullstack Developer for an initial 4-month contract that can be worked remotely with potential extension!

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features for the form builder UI, web form renderer, and system integration components.
• Migrate legacy PDF forms (XFA-based) into structured, JSON-driven digital formats.
• Analyze and translate complex form requirements into functional, accessible, and interactive web form experiences.
• Design application features using microservices architecture, API-first principles, and component-based design for scalability and modularity.
• Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E) to ensure system quality and prevent regressions.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA or higher) across both web forms and generated PDF outputs.
• Develop and secure RESTful API integrations with internal systems, including authentication and data exchange layers.
• Use GenAI tools and prompt engineering to accelerate and automate the transformation of legacy PDF forms into modern digital equivalents.
• Participate actively in agile development cycles, including 3-week sprints, planning, demos, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack developer on enterprise-scale web applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, following modern ES standards and clean code practices
• Experience with React for building dynamic, interactive front-end applications
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS/SASS, and building responsive web interfaces
• Proven ability to build accessible web forms compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA standards
• Experience developing client-side form validation logic, including conditionals and calculations
• Experience with Node.js for back-end development and middleware integration
• Experience with RESTful API development, including OAuth 2.0 and secure practices like RBAC and input validation
• Proficiency with JSON, XML, and JSON Schema validation for structured data handling
• Hands-on experience with Laravel (PHP) for building backend services or form management tools
• Demonstrated ability to integrate GenAI/LLM APIs, including prompt design and handling structured output
• Knowledge of Git workflows, including pull requests and branching strategies
• Experience working in agile development teams (e.g., Scrum or Kanban)
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
