Abbeal is seeking an Intermediate Java Developer for a major Canadian bank in Montreal. The role combines backend Java/Spring Boot work with data validation and profiling, including CI/CD via Maven, GitHub Actions, and Harness.

2 days on-site in Montreal, hybrid arrangement, with a 12-month renewal leading to permanent placement. Candidate will also work with .NET/C# components, perform data analysis, and collaborate with business and data teams to ensure reliable data flows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java development.
• Working knowledge of .NET / C#.
• SQL, relational databases, data analysis and profiling.
• Maven, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Harness).
• AWS is a plus.
• French required.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve REST APIs and microservices in Java and Spring Boot.
• Work on existing .NET / C# components.
• Analyse, profile and validate data in relational databases.
• Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline (Maven, GitHub Actions, Harness).
• Work with business and data teams to make data flows reliable.
