Job description

The Developer for the Progression Mainframe Migration Project will be responsible for converting mainframe applications from COBOL to modern technologies.

The role consists of taking the source code automatically converted from COBOL via the PROGRESSION Tool Suite, cleaning, compiling, and executing unit tests on the code. Additionally, the developer will troubleshoot defects reported by both Fujitsu and client testing groups.

C# Targeted Technology

The technology stack includes C#, React.js, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and PowerShell, modernized from Mainframe COBOL. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with mainframe technologies and significant experience in Windows .NET, ASP.NET, and C#.

JAVA Targeted Technology

The technology stack includes Java, React.js, IntelliJ / Eclipse, Postgres / Oracle SQL / SQL Server, and PowerShell, modernized from Mainframe COBOL. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with mainframe COBOL and significant experience in Java and Spring Boot.
