Our client is a US multinational investment bank and financial services corporation. We are currently forming a new team to handle Business As Usual tasks on Fixed Income applications. You will join the Luxoft development team, distributed across Poland, Canada, and India, collaborating with other global client teams. Technologies used include: Java 8/11/17, JWS, Oracle 11, custom frameworks, FIX protocol.

Responsibilities

• Build new components integrating with existing infrastructure
• Develop components using Gemfire
• Coordinate with internal bank development teams to develop a world-class application
• Ensure timely delivery of regulatory commitments
• Proactively maintain software compliance with best practices
• Document work properly

Skills

Must have

• Over 5 years of experience with strong knowledge of Core Java, including Collections, I/O, Multi-threading, and Generics
• At least 2 years of experience with GemFire
• Experience in performance tuning of Java applications, managing high data volumes, and Java memory management
• Experience with source code control systems like GIT
• Proficiency with tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Degree-level education

Nice to have

• Experience with RDBMS like SQL Server or Oracle
• Experience as an Architect
• Hands-on experience with TDD and automated testing tools such as JUnit, Cucumber
• Experience in investment banking
