Job summary

Canadian Utilities Limited, part of ATCO, is offering a 4-month co-op in Edmonton focusing on procurement operations and materials management. You will gain hands-on experience in purchase requests, spend analysis, and supplier collaboration within a supportive mentorship program.

As a enrolled undergraduate, you will work across procurement workflows, inventory control, and data management while developing professional skills and contributing to operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.

Responsibilities

• Support the purchase request intake process and assist with procurement workflows.
• Support spend reporting and data analysis activities to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sourcing and purchasing requirements.
• Assist with supply chain reporting, process improvement initiatives, and data management activities.
• Support materials management activities, including inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels and help identify replenishment requirements.
• Assist with reporting and analysis related to inventory performance and material utilization.
• Support process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support management of the product data hub to ensure inventory catalogue accuracy and consistency
• Work with supply chain team members to ensure materials are available to meet business requirements.
