Job summary

Farm Boy in Ontario is seeking a team member to help create a clean, welcoming, and safe shopping environment. You’ll support customers and Team Members by maintaining shared spaces and contributing to a positive in-store experience.

Responsibilities include delivering friendly service, assisting customers, keeping areas neat, supporting inventory and store supplies, and following health, safety, and food safety policies. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
• Experience in janitorial/cleaning in a food retail environment is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with high-quality results and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting with multiple deadlines and physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.

• Assist with inventory tracking and purchasing of store supplies as requested.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures, with emphasis on Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and support fellow Team Members as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities on a periodic basis to support store operations.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive movement, use of protective equipment or clothing, exposure to environmental elements (noise, dirt, dust), and work that may be performed in colder environments.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
