McDonald’s Listowel in Listowel, ON is hiring a Janitor (NOC 65312) to perform cleaning and maintenance across the restaurant. You will operate industrial vacuums, empty waste, wash surfaces, and assist with minor repairs under supervision, contributing to a safe, clean environment for staff and customers.

The role is full-time, seasonal, 40 hours per week, with a wage of $22.00 per hour. English required; experience is an asset though no degree is needed.

Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
Perform minor repairs on appliances.
Perform safety and security checks.
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Work with minimal supervision.
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
