Job summary

Thales Canada, Defence & Security, is seeking an IVVQ Test Specialist to join the IVVQ team based in Victoria or Halifax. The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting IVVQ activities for ship-related projects under the NSS program.

You will work closely with System and Software Engineering and may travel to client sites as needed. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in IVV or related fields, and experience with test case development, requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or related discipline.
• At least three (3) years demonstrated IVV or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test events.
• Write test plans and procedures to verify and validate product.
• Analyze requirements and develop traceability matrices.
• Develop test cases.
• Identify and analyze defects with System and Software Engineering.
• Raise issues/risks and track to resolution.
• Provide test reports and status updates.
• Deploy methodologies and tools for test activities.
• Follow internal processes and guidelines.
