Job summary

Thales Canada, Defence & Security is seeking an IVVQ Test Specialist based in Victoria or Halifax, with hybrid work arrangement. You will plan and execute IVVQ activities, write test plans and procedures, and collaborate with system and software engineering to verify and validate products.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in IV&V, with experience in test case development, requirements analysis, and familiarity with IBM DOORS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in IV&V or related field.
• Proficient in test case development and execution (manual or automated).
• Experience with requirements analysis and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IVVQ test events.
• Write test plans and procedures to verify/validate products.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to traceability matrices.
• Develop test cases.
• Collaborate with System/Software Eng to identify/analyze defects.
• Raise issues/risks and track to resolution.
• Provide test reports/status updates on activities.
• Deploy methodologies/tools for test activities.
• Follow internal test guidelines and processes.
