Job summary

Recrute Action is offering a hybrid Toronto-based opportunity to configure, customize, and integrate an enterprise procurement platform using Ivalua. The role emphasizes hands-on work with APIs, ETL, and SQL within a collaborative technology environment.

The position is a 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment, requiring 3 days in the office per week and a 37.5-hour workweek. A strong IT background with Ivalua experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years of IT experience configuring and managing Ivalua.
• Strong experience designing and supporting integrations using EAI, ETL, and API approaches.
• Excellent SQL skills including data migration and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the Ivalua platform per requirements.
• Gather and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Design and maintain integrations between Ivalua and ERP/finance/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Develop configuration docs, technical designs, and test scripts.
• Provide guidance on best practices for configuring Ivalua integrations.
• Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing of interfaces.
• Assist with data migration: mapping, transformation, loading.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration/integration issues with cross-functional teams.

This hybrid Toronto opportunity offers hands-on work with Ivalua, enterprise integrations, APIs, ETL, and SQL while supporting business-critical solutions in a collaborative technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the Ivalua platform according to functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and internal clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Ivalua and other enterprise systems using EAI, ETL, and API-based approaches.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation, technical design documents, and test scripts.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on best practices for configuring and integrating the Ivalua platform.
• Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure stable and effective Ivalua operations and interfaces.
• Assist with data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, and loading between source systems and Ivalua.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and integration issues, coordinating with cross-functional and vendor teams as needed.

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ivalua L2 or higher configuration certifications are considered an asset.
• 3 years of experience configuring and managing the Ivalua platform.
• 3 years of IT experience.
• Strong experience designing and supporting integrations using EAI, ETL, and API-based approaches.
• Experience integrating Ivalua with ERP, finance, and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar is considered an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, ETL processes, and database management.
• Experience with data migration projects and performance optimization of integration jobs is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with web services and API technologies, including REST, SOAP, message queues, and batch integration frameworks.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders across different geographic locations.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and procurement software solutions.
