iA Financial Group in Toronto is seeking an IT Technician for a 12-month, fully on-site assignment starting as soon as possible.
You will provide hands-on, on-site IT support to users, install and configure workstations and mobile devices, support AV setups for events, and help maintain asset inventories and documentation.
The role requires strong customer service, Windows and Mac knowledge, 2–5 years of IT support, and a DEC/AEC IT diploma; knowledge of French is a plus.

What you'll accomplish with us
As an IT Technician, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Welcome users at the IT service desk counter within iA offices, quickly assess their needs, and provide immediate, professional, and courteous on-site support.
Assist users in person, gather feedback, and provide relevant advice on best practices for using tools, technologies, and IT services.
Perform IT diagnostics, ensure rigorous follow-up with requesters, and aim to resolve issues efficiently within the assigned scope, minimizing escalation when possible.
Handle IT support requests both on-site and through service management tools, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Install, configure, and handle company workstations, mobile devices, and IT accessories, while ensuring accurate updates to asset data, inventories, and documentation.
Participate in supply and equipment management, including receiving, storage, and maintaining workstation staging and storage areas in good condition.
Set up, operate, and dismantle audiovisual equipment for corporate events, and provide on-site technical support to organizers and presenters to ensure smooth execution.

Is known for their strong customer service skills, interpersonal abilities, collaborative mindset, and focus on continuous improvement, both in person and over the phone.
Stands out for their excellent knowledge of office productivity tools and applications, including hardware, software, and online solutions.
Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of Windows and Mac environments, as well as mobile devices (Android and iOS). Experience with Internet or telecommunications service providers is considered an asset.
Is recognized for their willingness to learn and ability to evolve in a constantly changing technological environment.
Has a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support and a College diploma (DEC or AEC) in IT or equivalent (any relevant combination of training and experience will be considered).
Knowledge of French would be considered an asset.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 60 636$ and 79 585$ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
