Job summary

Stage Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of custom windows and doors in Ontario, seeks an IT Administrator to provide technical support, manage ERP, and enhance cybersecurity across our Ontario locations. The role requires 3+ years in technology and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in technology.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science or a technology related field.
Willingness to learn new ideas, concepts, and approaches.
Exposure to both Windows and MacOS operating systems.
Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of general computer hardware and peripherals.
Knowledge of IT security best practices and technologies such as user management, antivirus, and basic firewall configuration.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of applicable IT laws and regulations.
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Provide hardware, software, network, and related technical support across the organization.
Install, configure, and support software across Windows and MacOS platforms.
Act as ERP subject matter expert and ensure smooth integration with production systems.
Maintain and enhance ERP system to support department needs.
Develop and implement new functionalities in the ERP system.
Coordinate with external IT support for database maintenance and security.
Oversee and manage building security systems including alarms and CCTV.
Implement and maintain a helpdesk ticketing system for IT issues.
Maintain comprehensive system documentation and ensure security of information.
Manage Active Directory user accounts and access controls.
Provide orientation and training on existing technology to new users.
Ensure proper installation, usage, and upgrading of licenses; maintain compliance.
Maintain hardware inventory and track devices.
Assist in cybersecurity initiatives and educate employees on best practices.
