Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follow IT security policies to protect PII/PHI.

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Quebec IT team based in Brossard. You will support our Quebec operations while working closely with our national IT teams.

French is required for this role. You must also be proficient and comfortable speaking English, as many of the people you will work with communicate only in English.

This is a hands-on role where the quality of your support directly contributes to the continuity of clinical operations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical support to end users across our dental clinics, laboratories, and corporate offices
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, workstation, peripheral, and application issues
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT equipment
• Support network connectivity, VoIP systems, and Microsoft 365 environments
• Assist with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID administration and support
• Provide technical assistance for dental applications and related IT equipment
• Manage, document, and follow up on support tickets through to resolution
• Follow IT security policies and procedures to protect personally identifiable and protected health information (PII/PHI)
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external technology partners on incident resolution and IT projects
• Travel occasionally to supported locations based on operational requirements

What You Bring

• French, spoken and written (required)
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written, and comfort speaking it daily, as many of the people you will work with, including our national IT teams, communicate only in English
• College diploma (DEC) or attestation of college studies (AEC) in IT support (required)
• 3 to 5 years of relevant IT support experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID
• Experience with Fortinet networking and security solutions
• Knowledge of VoIP phone systems
• Strong hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
