Compensation: $60,000-$80,000/year

The Position
Reporting to the Manager IT – North America, the IT Specialist is responsible for the overall general maintenance of all Eclipse computer equipment and for the process of resolving identified technical problems that may exist within the company. The incumbent is also responsible for resolving or escalating Eclipse employee incidents throughout their lifecycle from submission/detection to fulfillment/resolution in a fast paced and busy environment, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
Technical
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.
- Respond to support requests via ticketing system, email, phone, remote support, and in-person assistance while meeting established Service Level Agreements
- Manage Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for device enrollment, application deployment, compliance policies, and security configurations.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows devices, Microsoft 365 services, and endpoint security solutions.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Diagnose and resolve email, authentication, and account access issues, including MFA and password resets.
- Monitor system health, security alerts, and endpoint compliance, escalating issues when necessary.
- Perform software installation, patch management, and operating system updates.
- Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures using the organization's ticketing system.
- Assist with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of hardware and software.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning, device setup, and access management.
- Follow IT security policies and best practices to protect organizational data and systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement new technologies.
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Provide after-hours support and participate in an on-call rotation for critical systems when required.
- Monitor server health, CPU, memory, storage, and system performance to ensure optimal availability
Systems & Network
- Assist Performing server patching, upgrades, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
- Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and internet access
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and availability using network monitoring tools
- Manage network infrastructure upgrades, firmware updates, and lifecycle replacement of networking equipment.
- Support network security initiatives, including Network Access Control (NAC), 802.1X authentication, certificate-based authentication, and secure wireless deployments
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives by implementing security best practices, endpoint protection, email security, and vulnerability remediation.

What We’re Looking For
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
- Experience using backup and recovery solutions
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems and asset management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between company locations
