Job Description: IT Support Analyst

This position can be based out of Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver or Calgary. McCarthy Tétrault employees benefit from a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, voicemails, and drop-ins for technical support across divisions, including identifying, researching, documenting, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems promptly.
- Identify, research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to applications or hardware.
- Provide one-on-one training to end users on specific hardware and software issues.
- Escalate and liaise with other IT teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Assist IT colleagues on special projects.
- Document, log, and track all support interactions using Enterprise Service Management software.
- Provide onsite support to colleagues in our Toronto office.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- College diploma in Computer Systems, Systems Administration, or related technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Experience with Office 365 / Azure AD administration or working knowledge; certifications are an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service focus.
- Patience, flexibility, and ability to manage difficult situations.
- Effective knowledge transfer using various techniques.
- Curiosity about technology and a willingness to understand how it works to improve business outcomes.
- Energetic, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
