Come join our Infrastructure Platforms (IP) team where you will play a key role in leading daily server administration and maintaining WCB Alberta's enterprise infrastructure environment, including Disaster Recovery, VMware, Windows Server, Linux, HPE server platforms, enterprise storage, and related systems and middleware technologies.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Infrastructure Platforms, the IT Specialist will bring strong hands-on expertise in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, server, storage, systems management, and automation, while contributing to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.
As WCB Alberta continues to explore and adopt Generative AI capabilities, the role will also contribute to the infrastructure and platform capabilities required to securely support AI models, workloads, and related services within the enterprise environment.
You will provide high-level technical consultation to clients on technical and business projects and lead hardware and software technical assurance, implementation, packaging, and distribution.
Key to your success will be your ability to solve complex technical problems, introduce innovative solutions, and create and improve documentation, standards, and procedures that enhance the reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) of WCB Alberta's infrastructure.

Salary: Pay Grade 11 Start Rate: $85,182 to Job Rate: $110,542 per annum (includes Market Supplement)
