Job summary

Powertech Labs Inc seeks an IT Advisor to support IT Services, Development and Cybersecurity across Powertech Labs and Powertech USA. Reporting to the Snr IT Manager, you will help ensure security, reliability and efficiency of IT services while working with a broad tech stack.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Systems or similar.
• 5+ years in IT Infrastructure technology concepts including data center, systems management, endpoints, DevOps, cloud services, virtualization, storage, security and mobility.
• Certifications such as MCSA, ITIL, CompTIA or (ISC)2 desirable.
• Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco Secure Access, Cisco Firepower/ASA, Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Sentinel.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to outsourced service providers and ensure adherence to Powertech policies and contractual requirements.
• Review and approve technology service requests, track status and ensure timely closure.
• Implement, monitor and manage security infrastructure, endpoints, DevOps environments and cloud solutions.
• Monitor vulnerabilities across IT infrastructure and DevOps environments with timely remediation.
• Partner with Power Systems and software teams to provide end-to-end IT support across lifecycle stages.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments and implement corrective actions.
