PayByPhone, located in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an IT Security Analyst to provide security and IT security analysis services for stakeholders. This hybrid, full-time role reports to the Manager, IT Security and collaborates across teams to implement security initiatives.

The candidate will help uncover security and compliance requirements, perform gap analyses, and drive IT security projects. Strong experience and relevant certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with IT security controls and incident response.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP are assets.

About The Role

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

Reports to: Manager, IT Security

A successful IT Security Analyst will provide Business and IT Security analysis services for stakeholders. The Security Analyst will work with teams to uncover security and compliance requirements, gap analysis and work with IT on IT security projects and initiatives for Corporate IT Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides security analyst services for PayByPhone teams
• Works with compliance to ensure Corporate IT and IT Security are compliant
• Participates in business and technical security requirements
• Maintains and enhances operational security controls
• Monitors environment for information security concerns
• Participates in incident response planning and execution
• Works with IT on IT Security projects
• Contributes to information security policy and processes

Key Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Post secondary education or combination of experience and capability
• Certifications in A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP, PCIP would be an asset
• Experience in General IT projects and common technologies related to security, antivirus, firewalls, and web filtering
• Windows Environments - Server and Desktop 2000+
• Linux experience a big plus
• Any programming experience a big plus
• Team player required, any formal team membership training is a plus

• Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000 CAD. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
