Job summary

Procom is seeking an IT QA Tester for a 12-month contract with 100% remote work. The role focuses on quality assurance across traditional software and low-code Dynamics 365 CRM platforms, including hands-on testing and defect management.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field and at least 3 years in IT QA, with knowledge of SDLC/Agile, testing fundamentals, SQL data validation, and bug-tracking tools. Vancouver, BC area; remote work available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and run detailed test cases for traditional apps and Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Identify, document and track defects in bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA teammates for coverage.
• Create test data, log results and maintain test execution records.

IT QA Tester:On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an IT QA Tester for a 12-month role. This position is a 100% remote position.Job Description:The IT QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of internal applications, focusing on both traditional software development and low-code platforms. This role involves hands-on testing, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams to deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions.Responsibilities:• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for both traditional and Dynamics 365 CRM applications.• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.• Identify, document, and track software defects using designated bug tracking systems.• Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved.• Create and manage appropriate test data sets for effective test execution.• Maintain accurate records of test results, test logs, and defect reports.• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Mandatory Skills:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT quality assurance testing.• Understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies.• Knowledge of Software Testing Fundamentals and Practices.• Familiarity with Bug Tracking and Test Case Management Systems.• Basic knowledge of Database concepts and SQL queries for data validation.• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.Nice-to-Have Skills:• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM concepts and testing approaches.• Proficiency in Test Design and Execution.• Experience with manual and basic automation scripting.Assignment Length:This is a 12-month contract position with the likelihood of extension.Start Date:ASAP.Assignment Location:Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with 100% remote work arrangements.This posting is for an existing vacancy.
