JOB PROFILE:

Position Title: IT Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The IT Project Manager role will follow the ATS IT PMO Methodology to effectively and consistently lead IT Projects from initial inception to final operations handover. The incumbent for this role is responsible for providing guidance and support to project team members ensuring project success.
The IT Project Manager role will work closely with project sponsors and business leads to facilitate the coordination and execution of IT Projects. The incumbent for this role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with team members across ATS divisions and leading cross-functional teams to satisfy strategic business requirements for many different types of projects.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Under general direction, responsible for all aspects of the planning, budgeting, development, and successful implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
  2. Focus on Key Performance Indicators: On-time Delivery, On-Budget, and Stakeholder Satisfaction.
  3. Helps define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and cost-benefit analysis.
  4. Leads the Project Team to develop detailed schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  5. Leads project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  6. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  7. Collaborates with Data Privacy Officers and German Workers Councils, as required to meet compliance requirements.
  8. Facilitates project documentation with the project team and ensures accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
  9. Collaborate with consultants and implementation partners on applicable project tasks and related deliverables.
  10. Escalates issues and risks that may threaten project budgets, schedules, and the quality of project deliverables.
  11. Active involvement with continuous improvement of the PMO processes and templates.
  12. Adoption of PPM tools and templates.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
• University degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, business, or related discipline
• PMP Certification
• Graduate degree such as an MBA is an asset

Experience:
• Over 5 years of experience in the Project Manager role
• Experience with the successful delivery of large Enterprise/Global initiatives. Familiarity with current IT Infrastructure Technology, Networking, Enterprise Software Solutions (ERP, CRM, HRIS, PLM) and Cyber Security Technology is preferred.
• Exposure working for fast-paced, global manufacturing/engineering companies. Experience with compliance programs: GDPR, Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Experience with project management software (e.g. Project Scheduling Tools, Planview) and Microsoft Office.
• A thorough understanding of IT Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile is required.
• Knowledge of Global Data Privacy and Protection regulations and experience implementing systems that comply with the regulations.
