Arvato, a leading IT and logistics service provider, is seeking an IT Onsite Support Technician in Mississauga. You will be the primary on-site contact for technical support, handling hardware/software issues, troubleshooting, and end-user productivity for internal customers.

Responsibilities include managing tickets, remote support, troubleshooting via phone/email/chat, and escalating complex issues. Eligible candidates typically have 2+ years in IT support and a IT degree or diploma, with CCNA

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field and 2+ years IT support experience.
• CCNA or similar certification is preferred.
• Experience with Azure, PowerShell, or monitoring tools is beneficial.

Job Description

The IT Onsite Support Technician serves as the primary onsite point of contact for technical support, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and maintaining end-user productivity. This role provides hands‑on troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and IT service delivery for internal customers.

• Manage onsite support tickets and remote technical support
• Respond to technical issues via phone, email, chat & on-site support
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determining the best solution based on the issue and escalating issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty as needed
• Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
• Monitor site to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Support overall IT initiatives for migrations, patches and updates, as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice
• Detail oriented
• Analytical/Critical thinking
• Highly organized
• 2+ years of experience working in a help desk or onsite support environment
• The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field and a minimum of 2 years of IT support experience working in a help desk or onsite support environment.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA preferred
• Experience with Azure, PowerShell, or monitoring tools preferred
