Job description

Permanent, full-time IT Manager role leading technology strategy, day-to-day operations and organization-wide AI adoption for a growing multi-site organization.

  • Leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, owning business systems, security, support and AI adoption.
  • Run strategy sessions with executives and department leaders, then turn the plans into hands-on delivery.
What & Why:

Our client is seeking an IT Manager to own technology across their organization and report directly to the CEO. Your main focus will be leading AI adoption, finding where AI can save time and money in every department and then delivering and measuring those gains. You’ll run strategy sessions with leaders to set priorities, build the IT roadmap and budget, and present plans to the executive team. You’ll also oversee the ERP and stay hands-on with infrastructure, security and escalated support across three provinces. As the organization grows, you’ll build out the IT team. This is a chance to step into a highly visible role and shape how an entire organization works with AI.

Who:

Our client is a growing organization with operations across multiple sites in three Canadian provinces. They are investing in technology and AI to improve productivity and service delivery as they expand, and they see IT as a key partner to the leadership team.

You:

You’ll bring the following experience and capabilities:

  • A proven record of leading AI rollouts across an organization, with measurable results such as hours saved, costs cut or processes automated in multiple departments.
  • Experience building AI adoption programs that bring non-technical staff along, including training, usage policies and change management.
  • Experience planning and leading strategy sessions with executives and department heads, and turning the results into clear roadmaps, priorities and budgets.
  • At least 8 years in IT, including 3 or more years managing an IT team or function, ideally in a multi-site organization.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP.
  • Strong technical depth in Microsoft 365, networking, security and end-user support, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • The ability to explain technology plans to executives in terms of business results.
  • Experience supporting operations spread across multiple locations.
Compensation:

This role pays between $125,000 and $135,000 per year.
