Role: IT Manager

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to lead our IT department, ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with business goals. The IT Manager will oversee technology infrastructure, lead a team of IT professionals, and ensure seamless IT operations while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and corporate policies. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

As the IT Manager you will:

  • Lead and manage the IT team, providing mentorship and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Oversee IT operations, including network administration, system maintenance, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies that support company growth and operational efficiency.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning.
  • Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate IT risks, implementing security and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.

Qualifications

As the IT Manager you will bring:

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in network management, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Experience with IT resource planning and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP (preferred).
  • Experience in the manufacturing or managed service provider industry (preferred).
