Job summary

Livingstone Range School Division is seeking a visionary Coordinator of Information Technology to lead cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience, and classroom technology integration across its rural Alberta division. The role reports to executive leadership and starts August 2026, offering a comprehensive benefits package and executive salary.

The successful candidate will bridge enterprise IT with EdTech, drive a strategic technology plan, and mentor a high-performing IT team supporting schools

Qualifications

  • Degree requirements in IT/EdTech-related fields.
  • 5–7 years IT leadership in K–12 or multi-site environments preferred.
  • Industry certifications in cybersecurity or systems architecture are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience for the division.
  • Oversee EdTech integration and professional learning for staff.
  • Develop and execute LRSD Long-Range Technology Plan.
  • Manage IT budget, tenders, and vendor contracts.
  • Represent LRSD with provincial technology partners.
