Reporting to the Director, Solution Architecture and Software Engineering, the IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of projects related to the organization’s technology infrastructure.

In this role, the Project Manager leads various initiatives, including the deployment of networking solutions, the enhancement of software solutions supporting IT service delivery, the installation of IT equipment, particularly for new business locations, as well as the coordination of various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to prioritize, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor IT infrastructure projects.
  • Manage the deployment of networking solutions across the organization’s various sites.
  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning of IT equipment across the organization’s sites.
  • Develop project plans and timelines and monitor deliverables.
  • Participate in budget preparation and monitor project spending.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and various business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate installation, configuration, testing, and production deployment activities.
  • Identify risks, recommend mitigation measures, and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s standards, technology standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare project status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and processes.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Experience planning and monitoring project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong initiative, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong results-oriented and customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Good knowledge of network infrastructure equipment (switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fibre-optic cabling, and telecommunications room installation coordination.
  • College or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience coordinating technology deployments across multiple sites is an asset.
  • Availability for occasional travel to support deployments across our various sites.
