Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, part of the BMW Group, offers a 13-month IT Infrastructure placement at Goodwood. You’ll contribute to a broad range of IT disciplines, work with experienced professionals, and explore AI and digital technology applications within modern manufacturing settings.

You will join an infrastructure team, support internal customers, and gain hands-on experience with Networking, Communications and End Devices. You must be returning to studies for at least 6 months after placement.

Qualifications

• Studying IT, Business or Engineering with 2:2 or higher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the IT infrastructure team.
• Support and assist internal customers across the business.
• Maintain IT Intranet pages and internal communications.
• Assist with basic procurement and liaise with suppliers.
• Gain knowledge across Networking, Communications and Workplace End Devices.

This position will be based at our Goodwood manufacturing plant.

What awaits you?

• To be an active member of the infrastructure team.
• Working with and supporting all members of the team.
• Provide support and assistance to our internal customers.
• Responsible for the IT Intranet pages.
• Gaining knowledge in all areas of IT Infrastructure (Networking, Communications and Workplace (End Devices).
• To assist with raising purchase orders and liaise/coordinate with Suppliers as required.

What should you bring along?

• Studying an IT, Business or Engineering related degree working towards a 2:2 or higher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with colleagues across a global organisation.
• A curious, proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Willingness to get involved, take initiative and embrace new challenges.
• Confidence to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
