Job Purpose

The IT Developer is required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

Duties and Responsibilities

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Transform business requirements and research into solutions that meet performance goals.
• Create and maintain quality code, support testing cycles and post-deployment, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Contribute to project planning, estimations, and status updates.
• Identify issues, develop processes to address them, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Assist in troubleshooting and making enhancements.
• Configure and develop custom components with technology partners to meet requirements.
• Ensure applications are secure and follow standard security practices.
• Proactively suggest ideas related to project objectives, including development and testing tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in .NET and VB development.
• Experience with web development, HTML, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Node.js, Express, and Database Management Systems.
• Power BI experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor work environment.
• Compliance with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature standards.

Physical Requirements

• Repetition of movements may occur.
