Job description

Are you looking to join our Information Technology team in a key role contributing to the improvement of systems and processes? Become part of the Simons family as an IT Business Analyst.

In this role, you will play a vital part in gathering, analyzing, and documenting the needs of operational teams to enhance systems and processes. Reporting to the Director of IT – Campus Support, Operations and Compliance, the IT Business Analyst works closely with internal IT and business teams to plan and implement technical solutions. This position also leads continuous improvement projects and provides training to end users, while playing a central role in the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsabilities

• Conduct business needs analysis, model processes, and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document requests for system improvements from operational teams.
• Act as the main point of contact with vendors and internal teams for technical and operational issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate solutions and coordinate developments.
• Conduct rigorous testing and coordinate the deployment of new features.
• Prepare functional and technical documents, including training guides, in collaboration with operational and IT teams.
• Provide post-implementation support to end-users.
• Offer level 2 and 3 technical support for various IT systems.
  
  

Desired Profil

• Hold a university degree in computer science, business administration, IT management, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in IT business analysis for projects. Expertise in project coordination.
• Knowledge of business processes in a distribution or retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
