Job summary

BDO is seeking an IS/IT Auditor in the Technology Risk Assurance group in Montreal. You will own ITGC assessments for financial statement audits, gather IT environment data, and support risk-based analyses for diverse clients.

You will collaborate with managers, document controls, deliver risk assessments and recommendations, and contribute to proposals. Fluency in English/French is essential, CPA/CISA goals are encouraged, and IT security exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in external audit, risk advisory, consulting or internal audit.
• Bachelor-level degree in accounting, business or commerce with a technology focus.
• Experience in IT security or network operations is a plus.
• Pursuing CPA Canada designation and/or CISA designation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of IT General Controls for financial statement audits.
• Collaborate with Managers to scope, budget, and review files.
• Review, document, evaluate, and test business processes and internal controls.
• Develop client deliverables, including risk assessments, analyses, recommendations, and reporting.
• Assist with business development proposals for existing/new clients.
• Maintain proactive information gathering and clear communications.
