Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead technology audits in North America within Internal Audit. You will instruct testing programs, assess IT projects, and drive data analytics initiatives to improve risk coverage.

Strong COSO knowledge and client-facing experience are required. The role supports automation of IT auditing and mentors staff while partnering with IT and business teams to strengthen controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Solid IT auditing and data analytics experience required.
• A bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, accounting, or related field with audit/accounting or IT audit designation preferred.
• Experience working in or with a Big Four firm or large organization is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT audit projects and deliver meaningful reports on risks and controls.
• Develop testing strategies for IT solutions, data, and related processes.
• Liaise with Corporate IT Infrastructure Audit to harmonize testing approaches.
• Provide coaching and guidance to audit staff and build capabilities.
