Job summary

Deloitte Canada is seeking a Consultant, IT Audit & Assurance in Calgary, offering a hybrid work model and permanent, full-time employment. You will lead IT controls audits, assess risks, and deliver value to clients across industries, collaborating with teams and leveraging established frameworks.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in IT audit, familiarity with COSO/ITIL/COBIT, and a CPA/CISA/CIA/CISSP pursuit; travel may be required. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in IT audit, IT internal controls, system audit or related field.
• Knowledge of COSO, ITIL, COBIT or other internal control frameworks.
• Pursuing CPA, CISA, CIA or CISSP designation is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, or Business/Commerce/Accounting is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead fieldwork for audits of IT controls as part of client engagements.
• Assess effectiveness of controls using established audit frameworks.
• Support IT general control and third-party assurance engagements (SOC 1/2, IT SOX/ICFR).
