Job summary

The Co-operators is seeking an experienced Audit Services professional to join our Hybrid IT audit team in Canada. You will plan, lead and complete complex information systems/audit projects in line with the annual audit plan, while guiding junior staff and coordinating CAATs using ACL and other tools.

With a minimum 5 years in auditing and 2 years IT audit, you will apply IT frameworks (COBIT, NIST) and risk management to identify control gaps and produce clear written reports for management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of auditing experience (insurance asset)
• 2+ years of IT auditing experience
• CISA, CISSP or related IT program required
• Strong knowledge of IT, audit methodologies, COBIT, NIST, risk management

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and complete complex IT audits per annual plan
• Supervise audit team and develop CAATs with ACL or other tools
• Review audit files for quality before management review
• Evaluate controls in production environments and report gaps
• Prepare ACL programs and coordinate source file needs with business units
• Represent Audit Services on projects to advise on risk and controls
• Interview staff and management to communicate with IT professionals
• Conduct peer reviews of completed audit files
