Job summary

Jonas Software, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, seeks an IT & Compliance Manager to guide B4CheckIn's technology strategy and governance. You will partner with senior leadership to shape the tech roadmap, align initiatives with business goals, and build a scalable organization focused on governance and innovation.

Leading risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit-support efforts, you will develop leadership across the tech team and drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent senior leadership experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience with technologies and practices such as Microsoft Azure, enterprise cloud architecture, cybersecurity, IAM, DevSecOps, platform engineering, modern infrastructure, AI governance, ITSM and enterprise architecture.

POSITION

B4Checkin is seeking an experienced IT & Compliance Manager to lead the continued evolution of our technology organization. This is a strategic management position responsible for aligning technology with business objectives while strengthening governance, developing future leaders, and ensuring the organization continues to scale through sound operational practices rather than dependence on individual contributors. The successful candidate will lead technology strategy, organizational governance, compliance, operational leadership, and organizational development while working closely with senior leadership to build the next generation of B4Checkin's technology organization. This role is ideally suited to a leader who enjoys building organizations, developing people, and establishing practical governance that enables innovation while protecting the long-term interests of the business.

Compensation & Role Details

• Expected Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is between $75,000 to $85,000 CAD , depending on experience and qualifications
