Proof of the Pudding is seeking a POS & Technology Support Staff member for a fixed-term event role in Caledon, ON. The position supports the Operations Team with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of POS systems across multiple event locations.

Responsibilities include device setup, cabling, and ensuring all equipment functions during opening and closing procedures. English is required; long shifts and physical activity are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in technical support, event technology, POS systems, or related operational roles.
  • POS experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Comfortable working with computers, tablets, and mobile technology.
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cabling and equipment setup.

  • Reliable, dependable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced event environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Details
  • Job Type: Fixed‑Term Contract.
  • Contract Length: Approximately 1 week.
  • Pay Rate: Employee will be paid a daily rate of $275/day.
  • Schedule:
    • 10‑hour shifts
    • 12‑hour shifts
    • Day shift
    • Evening shift
  • Language Requirement: English (required).
  • Work Location: In person – Caledon, ON.
