Job summary

Centennial College Student Association (CCSAI) is seeking an Indigenous Student Union (ISU) Coordinator in Toronto. This full-time, 12-month contract role supports administration, day-to-day operations, programming, engagement, and organizational activities of the ISU under the Vice President, Indigenous Affairs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Indigenous Studies, Indigenous Governance, Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Student Affairs, Education, Social Work, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous histories, cultures, and student experiences in post-secondary education.
• Experience working with Indigenous students, communities, or organizations is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate programs, events, projects, or student engagement activities.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and recordkeeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Vice President, Indigenous Affairs and ISU.
• Maintain ISU records, files, correspondence, and documents; ensure accessibility and accuracy.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, tasks, and deadlines for ISU activities.
• Assist with meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations.
• Track decisions and deliverables from ISU meetings and activities.
• Support ISU work plan development and annual priorities.
• Coordinate engagement activities and community partnerships.
